Maria graduated from Athens School of Fine Arts in 2012, where she received the Spyridon Vikatos Foundation Scholarship Program 2013. In 2015 she completed her Master’s degree at the MFA in Fine Arts Program at Goldsmiths College in London. In 2019 she received the ARTWORKS Fellowship Award (SNF Artist Fellowship Program).
