Since 2021, the ARTWORKS x Delta collaboration has cultivated a dynamic exchange
between contemporary Greek art and the fine dining experience at Delta Restaurant, housed
within the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center. Between 2021 and 2024,
ARTWORKS commissioned and presented works that were thoughtfully embedded into the
restaurant’s spatial and sensory environment, engaging with its architectural character and
conceptual ethos. The selected works delved into themes such as memory, mythology, digital
culture, and the complex entanglement of nature, human presence, and technology. What
began as a rotating exhibition program has evolved into an ongoing partnership, with key
works now forming the core of a permanent collection established in 2025. At its heart, the
initiative reflects ARTWORKS’ commitment to opening up new ways for contemporary art
to resonate within everyday encounters and lived experience.
