ARTWORKS Grants Program is designed to provide financial support to arts professionals enabling them to bring to life thought-provoking works with the aim of facilitating artistic production in Greece and amplifying its reach internationally. By fostering artistic experimentation, critical discourse, and cross-sector collaboration, the program affirms the role of contemporary art in shaping urgent cultural conversations.

Through its long-term action and partnerships with leading institutions, festivals, and networks worldwide, ARTWORKS offers new opportunities for visibility, exchange, and long-term development.

Open to mid-career artists and curators who live and work in Greece, the program this year is dedicated to professionals who work in the visual arts, dance and curating, and who are committed in producing work with a strong personal vision, artistic merit and international relevance.

The ARTWORKS Grants program is supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), the Qualco Foundation and Qualco Group, as well as by donations from artists who participated in the Benefit Event “Collecting with Purpose”.

The Program

ARTWORKS Grants is a funding scheme designed to support artists and cultural practitioners in the development and realization of artistic projects that contribute to contemporary cultural production. By focusing on the artistic fields in which ARTWORKS has previously been active — visual arts, dance, and curating — the program is targeted at fostering creativity, building meaningful partnerships with institutions, and promoting contemporary Greek art both within Greece and internationally.

This year, a total of 10 projects will be selected for funding, with grants ranging from €6,000 to €8,000, depending on the discipline, scale, and anticipated impact of each proposal. All projects must be completed within 12 months following the announcement of the results.
