Antiphona is a multidisciplinary project that brings together music, memory, and visual art, centered on the Ursuline Convent of Loutra, Tinos, and the women whose lives and presence shaped its history.

Inspired by the Ursuline Order, the concert program features works by Hildegard von Bingen and Guillaume de Machaut, performed by five musicians on historical string instruments, creating a sonic bridge between the past and the present.

Alongside the performances, a visual installation of fifty white nightgowns, printed with cyanotypes created from archival photographs and published material from the convent, reveals the unseen stories of the women who lived, worked, and studied there. Through images, sound, and symbolism, the project highlights the intangible cultural heritage of Tinos, transforming memory into a lived experience.

The event concludes with the offering of baked goods inspired by historic recipes from the convent and the island’s local culinary traditions.
