Steffi Stouri
Curatorial Residency Program in Istanbul: October 2026
Steffi Stouri is a contemporary art curator and cultural producer based in Athens. Her practice develops around feminist and postcolonial epistemologies, sonic resonances and archival transcriptions. She has collaborated with the National Museum of Contemporary Art (ΕΜΣΤ) in Greece, curating educational and public engagement programs. She has curated Karstic Dreams (2026) in Ancient Orchomenos, Polyrhythmia in Paper (2026) in the library ILFR of Nasjonalmuseet in Oslo, Norway, Otherlands (2024) at the archaeological site of Heraion Perachora, and was a curatorial associate at the Greek National Opera’s visual arts programme Unboxing Callas (2023). In 2025 she was a part of the In ruins residency where she curated an intervention at the archaeological site of Pietra Caduta in Canosa di Puglia, Italy. She also received the ARCAthens NOLA/NYC Fellowship, researching the potential of sound as an artistic medium for restorative storytelling and community resilience in New Orleans and New York City. She holds a Master of Arts from the University of Amsterdam in Museum Studies and a Bachelor of Science in History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Athens.
