Konstantina Barkouli-Gavri is a dancer and performer. She holds a degree from the Greek National School of Dance and a BA in Communication and Film Studies (ACG) as a recipient of the Harvey C. Krentzman scholarship. In her practice she combines film, movement research, new-technologies and comedy to research multimedia performative and perceptive approaches. During her residency, she concentrated her research on exploring how cinematography can evolve into a choreographic language, transforming film sequences into dynamic stage action and three-dimensional movement.
